✨ Magical day workshop in June 2026 with future Latin teachers studying in Heidelberg (Southern Germany) ✨
So much water and rain on site, so many nymphs and trees in texts, so many beautiful moments.
Reading and speaking, Latin and German, translating and sharing words that strike chords; walking and talking out in the rain, about landscapes of our childhood and current grappelings with nature(culture).
And moving (really moving) between pathway and woods, getting dirty, getting wet, becoming re-aquainted with trees, leave patterns, the cold, slippery pathways, ourselves, the past, the present.
So grateful to all of you present as well as to Joséphine Jacquier, who chose to include proper outdoor movement practice in her class on Latin literature on nature and Latin nature poetry! And thank you also to the Heidelberg School of Education for funding fellowships like hers that include freelance artists like me! May we all be able to go on exploring, it’s worth it!
