Collaboration with geographer and social theorist Prof. Nigel Clark and choreographer and doctoral researcher Simo Kellokumpu. Mini-residency during the 4th Dance and Somatic Practices Conference, co-creation of a gallery space and performance. How do we collaborate with materials that populate and transcend the human sphere? The mineral, the organic and inorganic, the geologic – fire wood, dance mats, aluminum – crust of the earth, vulcanic activity, the interplanetary.
